The porch area is filled with cabinets that can fulfill not only the daily shoe storage needs but also store other items required for going out. The Xuanguan cabinet serves not only as a shoe storage cabinet but also as a partition cabinet. By utilizing the porch instead of traditional wall partitions, it not only divides the space but also adds strength and lightness to the entire house. The middle space of Xuanguan is left as a table finishing area, providing convenience for temporarily placing objects, freeing hands, and making shoe changes and makeup more convenient.
The living room embraces a relatively simple and versatile white and gray color scheme, accentuated with bright colors as embellishments to maintain simplicity without becoming monotonous. Strong elements of the new Chinese style, such as chandeliers and openwork screens, are added to make the living room more vibrant. The stone background wall is paired with a simple low cabinet, creating an overall design that exudes relaxation and comfort. The walls are adorned with ink painting motifs, showcasing the beauty of the new Chinese style.
To create a more spacious ambiance, the designer has ingeniously designed the food and kitchen areas, with a screen serving as a partition between the restaurant and the porch, creating distinct functional zones. The L-shaped kitchen encompasses a washing area, cooking area, and preparation area, allowing for efficient workflow and time-saving in cooking. Meals can be enjoyed directly on the dining table. The dining table and chairs incorporate traditional cultural elements, with a calm and dignified gray-black tone, introducing cloth art texture and elements of the "moon hole door" into the restaurant, evoking a sense of tradition.
The bedroom maintains a simple grayish-white tone in its decor, characterized by strong lines and a textured feel. Bedside cabinets are placed on both sides of the bed, exhibiting a symmetrical design with a touch of new Chinese flavor. The overall design combines the new Chinese style with modern elements, ensuring it does not appear overly dull while still embracing the essence of new Chinese design. A cushioned floating window in the bedroom serves as a temporary leisure area, providing ample lighting to the room.
To create a more spacious look in the bedroom, a wardrobe was not included. Instead, the designers utilized a 7-square meter space to create a cloakroom. The wardrobe, spanning the entire wall, offers ample storage for the entire family's clothing. The top area of the wardrobe is designated for seasonal bedding and pillows, effectively utilizing space.
The open areas on the left and right sides of the wardrobe serve as hanging spaces for frequently worn clothes or as a sub-net clothing storage area, accommodating clothes that do not require immediate cleaning. A small set of lockers near the window allows for unobstructed light while serving as a resting and storage area.
