His wife expressed dissatisfaction with their new 79 sqm home, considering it too small. However, she emphasized the importance of practicality.

Owner: Miss Lin - Ms. Lin, born in 1995, purchased this single apartment after five years of work. She desired a home that felt simple, spacious, and inviting. The designer decided to incorporate a pastoral style for Miss Lin. Together with Xiao Ou, they explored options in Shandong Heze.

Foyer

The overall layout of the house maintains a clean and simple aesthetic. The cabinet doors are silver-gray, creating a contrasting effect with the wooden flooring and adding a touch of color. The semi-enclosed entrance cabinet offers ample storage, and the hollow design on the right side adds a sense of space while providing convenience for the owner to store items at will. The bottom of the entrance has a 15 cm clearance, allowing for easy placement of slippers or shoes when entering.

Living Room

Considering Miss Lin's preferences, we opted for warmer wood tones to create a cozy atmosphere. The living room's design features gray and white latex paint on the walls, replacing traditional wall decorations with a striking piece of hanging artwork for a more cost-effective solution. The simple suspended TV cabinet and soft furnishings give the living room a spacious and welcoming appearance. The addition of light green accents above the TV cabinet adds vitality and complements the overall wood color scheme.

Kitchen

The kitchen is designed with an L-shaped layout, clearly defining functional areas. The hob and hood are placed along the longer side of the L-shape, while the corner serves as a preparation area for further cooking. This layout optimizes the use of corner space and offers flexibility, making it easier for homeowners to navigate while working in the kitchen.

Dining Area

Considering the limited space, we have omitted a partition between the living room and dining area, opting for an integrated design. This allows the two spaces to borrow from each other, visually extending the overall space. The wooden dining area harmonizes with the rest of the home, enhancing unity. The dining cabinet combines wood tones with white, creating a layered effect. Glass elements on the left side increase the permeability of the dining area, ensuring a comfortable and natural dining environment.

Bedroom

Due to the limited space in the master bedroom, we incorporated sliding doors for the wardrobe to maximize space utilization and provide more room in the hallway. At the foot of the bed, a small dressing cabinet serves both the owner's dressing needs and helps create a less compact layout for the bedroom.

Bathroom

The bathroom adopts a white base tone, complemented by a green bathroom cabinet for a simple and natural look.

The niche design and mirror cabinet fulfill storage requirements while saving space and maintaining a spacious and minimalist ambiance in the bathroom.

We are opening this July in Ortigas, Metro Manila!
