Style Showcase | 65 sqm Irregular Small Apartment with Double Bathrooms and Double Showers

It must be acknowledged that those who can acquire an irregularly shaped home are resilient individuals. Just like the case of this 65 sqm small family apartment, due to the developer's unconventional layout, the original shape of the home posed challenges such as limited space, poor reception, and lighting. However, after the designer's transformation, it has now become a delightful pink haven!

1. Entryway Space

The entrance door leads to the living room. On the left side of the door, a custom shoe cabinet and shoe bench combination have been installed. On the right side, a dressing mirror has been placed, enhancing the functionality of the entryway.

2. Living Room Space

Although the living room has an irregular shape, the advantage lies in its square footage. A double sofa is positioned opposite the TV wall, and a row of booths with built-in storage has been customized by the window, providing a comfortable space for the family to watch TV and engage in conversations together.

The TV cabinet has been cleverly designed to incorporate desks and open shelves near the desk area, making it convenient to store books.

3. Kitchen Space

The kitchen has been merged into an open concept, utilizing the irregular walls to create cabinets that offer ample storage and workspace.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the designer has customized a double-sided cabinet. The dining area's side of the cabinet is open with hidden strip lighting for decorative purposes, while the other side serves as a storage cabinet for toiletries.

4. Elderly Room

The decoration of the elderly room is simple yet warm and comfortable. Asymmetric design has been employed for the bedside area, with one side featuring a customized desk and bookcase, while the other side accommodates a bedside cabinet.

5. Bathrooms

In order to prioritize safety, the bathroom walls have been made as thin as possible, and two sliding doors have been installed to separate the shower, toilet, and basin areas. The original bathroom location has been cleverly utilized to create a double bathroom with showers, eliminating the need to queue for bathroom usage during mornings and evenings.

The washing/drying machine has been conveniently placed on the balcony, streamlining the laundry process.

6. Master Bedroom Space

The master bedroom's wall color design combines gray and blush tones to strike a balance between a soft, romantic atmosphere and avoiding excessive sweetness. Blue accents have been added to neutralize the color scheme, creating a warm and comfortable ambiance.

7. Children's Room

Given the irregular shape of the children's room, a carpenter was engaged to customize a specially shaped bed structure on-site. The bed features both upper and lower levels, with four large drawers for storage beneath it. The stairs leading to the bed also serve as additional storage space.

A desk has been placed beside the bed, and the split air conditioner has been cleverly concealed on the desk, ensuring that it doesn't blow directly onto individuals.
